Loving Spring!!

I am loving this beautiful spring weather.  Brent and I love to take A on walks in the evening and she is starting to really enjoy it as well.  Thank goodness because Brent is super outdoorsy and really wants A to enjoy it just as much as he does. :) We had our friends John, Jake, Julia and Baby S over for a cookout on Saturday.  It was wonderful weather so we decided to do a mini photo shoot of the babies together.  These babies melt my heart.  We hope they are as good of friends as their parents are. I am not sure S is agreeing with me. Ha!

This weekend, we are headed to Mountain Home to see my dad. He has been SUPER busy during tax season but thankfully that slows down today! We haven't been to Mountain Home in a long time and this will be A's first time there. She is sure to love it. So... right now I am working for the weekend. Lets just pray she does good in the car. Lately, it has been a struggle to keep her happy in the car. I am hoping it is just a phase. Have a good rest of the week!

Easter Weekend

This weekend was so nice! Brent and I stayed home with A and had such a relaxing weekend. Friday night we decided to "try" and make Benihana fried rice, chicken and veggies. I will have to say we had a lot of fun trying... :) Ha... nah it was pretty good, but definately not like Benihana. Saturday, we got our car serviced and ran a bunch of errands. A was soooo good all day long and we ended our evening with a good movie!

 

 I was so excited to dress A up for Easter. I put two different outfits on her. Goodness, I love this girl!

She was an angel all day. We had Easter lunch at our place with Brent's parents and our good friends, Nathan, Allison and Ryan, Carolyn and their sweet baby. Also, their parents were in town and joined us. We had a lovely lunch! Now... the work week begins again. Only 6 more Mondays left for me! Oh how I can't wait!! Have a fantastic week!

Busy Week!

This week has been a crazy week. We had a gospel meeting at church Monday through Wednesday. My good friend Julia had her precious baby boy Wednesday evening. Of course, I was there Wednesday night and Thursday evening wanting to snuggle on that precious boy. On top of all of my extra activities, we had our state tests this week at school. My poor kids and I were sooo exhausted! And now, finally, it is Friday and I am more than ready to relax with my little family this weekend. It's so nice getting to slow down on the weekend and love on my sweet girl. She's getting so big and it makes me want to cherish every second with her. Luckily, I go see her for an hour each day at lunch. If I couldn't do that, I might go nuts! :) Enjoy your Easter weekend!

Loving Every Minute!!!

A and I have been getting some good quality time together lately and I am enjoying it so much. I can't believe I am already back at work though! Where does the time go? My baby girl is already 2 months!! How crazy!! I didn't do her one month or two month post so I will feel ya in on how she is now. 

A, you are wearing size one diapers and nursing every 3 hours.  You are still sleeping in the bed in our room.  You wake up once or twice a night, but I love it! You absolutely LOVE your swing!  It is your favorite.  This week you started going to Aunt Janet's while mommy goes to work.  I know you love it, but I cried like a baby when I left you on Monday. At least I only have a month and a half left of school and then I get you to myself all summer long!  A, we love you so much and are so incredibly blessed to have such a precious little girl!

Since my last post we have... Gone shopping, gone to friends' houses, had many movie nights with daddy, spent time with family, had our first road trip and much more. A did awesome on our trip to Little Rock when we went. My oldest niece turned 5 and had a dress up party. My sister is so creative and she outdid herself with the CUTEST birthday party. We had a blast! Also since my last post, two friends had sweet babies... Jill and Lindsay. Both of them had such sweet babies. They are adorable. Now, I am just waiting on my friend, Julia, to get her baby boy here. For now, I am going to try and cherish each moment with my girl. I am loving EVERY minute of it!! Here is what we've been up to.

Meet A!!

On January 17th I had my weekly appointment. My doctor checked me and said I was almost at a 4!  She told me to expect the baby within the next few days!!  So... fast forward about an hour and a half and I was lying on the couch and my water broke!  I was so shocked I didn't know what to do.  Luckily, Brent had made it home about 20 minutes before so we loaded up the car.  Almost instantly, the hard contractions started. Oh MY... we couldn't get to the hospital fast enough.  By the time we made it, I was already at 6 cm. and by the time I got to a room, I was at 7 cm.  I was more than ready for my epidural.  Finally I got it and I was much happier!  Soon, my family arrived and we were ready to meet "A".  At about 11 p.m., I started pushing and pushed for an hour and half.  By that time, my epidural had worn off and I could feel almost everything!  On January 18th at 12:52 a.m. our sweet girl was born.  She was 6 lbs. 14 oz. and 20 inches long and extremely PRECIOUS!!  It was the most amazing experience ever!!  I wouldn't have changed anything.  AND... I am pretty sure I have the best husband ever, because he was wonderful the entire time.  I was lucky to have my mom, sister and mother-in-law in the room with me and Brent.  Also, Amber Lanning was in there capturing this experience for me!  I am so thankful I had her take pictures, so I can remember the entire experience. We were able to go home on January 19th and we have been enjoying every minute of it since. I am soooo in love with her!  So... here she is!!!!
